ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The goal of the JCC Innovation Club is to solve complex problems through a creative, solution-oriented, scientific approach.
Selected candidates will go through an interview and will commit to participate from November 2019 – April 2020, showcasing their project on May 3 2020
Innovation Club will meet weekly on MONDAYS 6:00pm -7:30pm
Edward is in Grade 12 at St. George’s School. He is a Mathematical Researcher, with a published paper on Repetitive Continued Fractions and Fibonacci Family Numbers. Last summer he attended a Science Tech and Politics course at Cornell. In his spare time Ed likes listening to music (Korean and beyond) and sports such as bball.
Ofir is a MSc.student at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, SFU. He received his B.A in Psychology with a minor in Human-Computer-Interaction and Brain Science from IDC Herzliya, Israel. He is interested in creating meaningful human-human interactions and experiences with technology while preserving sensitive humanistic values. These days, as part of his master’s thesis, he explores technologies for emotion regulation between parents and children.
