Meet some of our Mentors:

Adi Rosenkrantz - Gr 11 student at King David High School
I was born and raised in Israel and moved to Vancouver when I was 8 years old. I have one older sister and eventually I will have a dog. I enjoy spending my summer days surrounded by friends at Kalamlka Lake, where Camp Hatikvah lies. In my spare time I love to read, play the ukulele and catch up with my friends from all across Canada. I'm very enthusiast and easy going which will help me become the best mentor I can be. I'm really excited to be a part of this program and make a difference in kid's lives.

Emily Holzman - recent graduate from UBC with a degree in Spanish and Family Studies
Hola! I grew up in Portland with a Jewish family who instilled strong values of practicing "Tikkun Olam" in my daily life. I am involved with Chill Chat because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to receive unconditional support from someone. When I'm not volunteering, you can find me snuggling farm animals, traveling the world, or exploring the outdoors with my friends or family.

Ma'ayan Fadida - Gr 11 student at King David High School
I really enjoy playing sports and spending time with my friends and family. I am really excited about becoming a mentor because I feel I have a lot to both offer and gain from this program. I am a really enthusiastic and friendly person which I feel will make me a great mentor. I am the eldest in my family and have two sisters and one brother. I am really passionate about advocating for Israel and about spreading those ideas around me. I am part of a Jewish youth group called NCSY. One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is watch tv and movies. I can't wait to get started in this program!

Sophie Temirov - student at King David High School
I like being an active member of my school. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends. I joined Chill Chat because I like working with other kids and I feel that my experiences can prove beneficial.
