PRESCHOOL Morning Programs

Bet, Aleph, Shabbat Shalom Preschool Programs

1st priority       begins Jan 19
JCC members whose children are presently enrolled in Bet Preschool, Shalom Aleph and Shabbat Shalom

2nd priority        begins Jan 21
JCC members whose children have attended licensed programs at the Simkin Family Child Development Centre

3rd priority        begins Jan 23
JCC members whose children have never attended licensed programs Simkin Family Child Development Centre

4th priority       begins Jan 26
Non-member alumni and non-members whose children are enrolled in licensed programs at the Simkin Family Child Development Centre

Open registration begins Jan 29

To apply: download the fillable Registration Package below. Deliver completed forms to the Front Desk AFTER 9:00am on the day of your category or later. No early applications accepted. Applicants will be notified as to their status the week of Feb 23.

Childcare Subsidies
You may qualify for subsidy from the Ministry of Children and Families. Please check their website for details.

Bet Preschool
(5 days)
Multi-age group  
Mo-Fr 8:45am-12:30pm

Bring something nutritious to share for snack and pack a lunch. This 3hr 45min program is designed with parents and children in mind.

A longer morning opens opportunities for enriched and extended learning. Whether it’s specially designed learning centers, circle time, games in the gym, trips to the JCC library and art gallery, classes in Jewish culture, music, art and science, there is something to inspire every child.

Join experienced early childhood educators, Jen and Carmen for an exciting and educational year. 

Shalom Aleph
(2 days)  
Mo & We 9:00am-10:30am or 
Tu & Th 9:00am-10:30am or  11am-12:30pm

Shabbat Shalom
(1 day)  
Fr    9:00am-10:30am or

Shalom Aleph and Shabbat Shalom are specially designed for two-year-olds, and may be your child’s first experience in an early childhood environment. Parents are required to fulfill a Hishtatfoot (partnership) Day of 8 classes/year.
Max. enrollment is 12 children with two teachers and one parent to assist. Children may be registered in both Shalom Aleph and Shabbat Shalom for a three day week.
