Library Celebrates 25 years

The Isaac Waldman Jewish Public Library turns 25 this year!

The library is proud to be home to a collection of over 30,000 books. As the only Jewish Library west of Winnipeg, we are a community hub, bringing people together and connecting them to Jewish history, culture and tradition, and expanding their world view. We provide an inclusive environment and free programs and services that fuel lifelong learning.

Celebrate Our Anniversary

To mark our anniversary, the library is introducing an exciting new initiative: ADOPT A BOOK.

ADOPT A BOOK is a meaningful and creative way to gift a loved one. When you ADOPT A BOOK, it is inscribed with your personalized message on a bookplate, and can commemorate any occasion, including:

  • a graduation
  • a birthday
  • in memory

A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the full amount.
