Hebrew Reading - Level 1
Learn the Hebrew letters and vowels.
Start reading and singing a Hebrew text.
Learn some elementary vocabulary and even a tiny little bit of grammar.
All in a painless new approach.

Hebrew Reading - Level 2
You have studied the Hebrew letters and vowels. But you are still confused and hesitant. Here is your opportunity to fine tune your Hebrew reading.

This course will help you improve on your letter & vowel recognition. Read, sing and learn some basic vocabulary and grammar from the Haggadah, Siddur and Songs.

Instructors:
Rahel Halabe has taught Classical and Modern Hebrew at different levels and various venues in Vancouver. She is a sessional lecturer at Vancouver School of Theology, teaching Biblical Hebrew. A number of years ago, Rahel founded and taught the Vancouver Mini-Ulpanim, which are still running at the JCC.

Shoshana Hofman, a native of Israel, started teaching Hebrew in the Netherlands in 1974 and in Canada in 1980. She has taught at Beth Tikvah, Beth Israel, Talmud Torah and at the JCC for the past 20 years. Shoshana also teaches the Summer Mini-Ulpanim.
