Located at 950 West 41st Avenue, the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver offers exceptional cultural, educational, recreational and social programs and services. It is the home of various leading Jewish organizations, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. Over generations, thousands of members, volunteers and donors have made the JCCGV what it is today. The JCCGV is a gathering place that reflects and accommodates the diverse needs of Vancouver-area Jews. No wonder the JCCGV is simply referred to as the "Centre"; it is truly at the heart of our community.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver is proud to play a major role in the lives of all who come to utilize its numerous resources. Over the summer, hundreds of children took part in our many camps and programs. They created life-long relationships, learned new skills, and connected with the fabulous, dedicated staff.

The JCCGV Vancouver/Galil Maccabi Team represented the community at this year's JCC Maccabi Youth Games held in Detroit, Michigan. These teens also brought back memories that will last a life time. This fall, the JCC is proud to be co-producing, with the Jewish Federation, the community's “Israel @ 60” Celebration, an event that will bring thousands together in Stanley Park, and is being put together with hundreds of volunteers, all of whom will be touched, in some way, by the JCC.

The next time you come to the JCC, look around. Think about all of the experiences all of the people you see will take home with them. We hope that you take advantage of all the JCC has to offer, and hope that we've played a positive role in your life.
