MACCABI CLUB:
It is important that all participants understand and appreciate that the JCC Maccabi Games are much more than just a week of athletic competition. It is a privilege, and not a right, to attend the Games and there is a waiting list of athletes who would love the opportunity to participate.
In that respect, Team Vancouver~Galil has established a programs called The Maccabi Club which requires participants to engage as volunteers in the Jewish community both before and after the JCC Maccabi Games.

There will be unique social events for Team Vancouver~Galil before the games in order to provide the opportunity for the team to get to know each other and really become one large team.

Members of Team Vancouver~Galil are also expected to help raise funds that go to scholarships for the Games. Each participant will have a base expectation of fundraising efforts.
