The  JCC of Greater Vancouver has been the heart and soul of our community for over 80 years. For many of
us, our beloved “J” is THE place from which we derive our main sense of Jewish belonging and connection.
Given the countless fitness club and neighborhood community centre options out there, it is more important 
than ever that we show the “J” our love, and ensure that it is able to continue providing the great services
and programming that keeps our community humming.

That’s why we produced an original funky musical video love letter to shout out to the world what we
absolutely LOVE about our “J” and to launch our WHY I LOVE THE “J” Contest.

Now it’s your turn to show us some love! We want to hear from you!  In no more than 250 words of text, in a SHORT STORY, a POEM, a SONG, a HAIKU, a DANCE number, a short SKIT or musical VIDEO of your own, tell us Why YOU love the “J”.

It's completely up to you how you want to express Why YOU love the "J". For e.g., you could tell us about your fondest JCCGV memory, list ways in which the "J" has enriched your life, or tell us a heartening or funny story.

Everyone who enters the contest
will receive a colourful and funky
“I love the J” t-shirt!
 

Simply write, record or videotape your submission and e-mail any text or links to alexis@jccgv.bc.ca . Entries can also be delivered in person to the JCCGV membership desk. By submitting an entry you are deemed to have read and agreed to the contest rules.

The contest will run from Friday August 26th, 2011 until Friday August 24th, 2012. The first wave of prizes will be announced Friday October 28th, 2011.
