Dr. Goldman is a pediatrician trained in Israel and in Toronto. He recently completed his term as Chief of the Emergency Department at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. Dr. Goldman is currently the Assistant Dean for Continuing Professional Development, and Associate Professor in the University of British Columbia. He is a staff physician in the emergency at BC Children’s Hospital and the Chief of a new Division of Clinical Pharmacology – teaching and conducting research in the area of medications for children.
As a scientist in the Child and Family Research Institute, Dr. Goldman’s research program is publishing extensively in the medical literature on topics related to acute management of children and investigation into new medications and the effects of current medications. He is frequently invited to speak both at physicians’ conferences as well as for parents on common pediatric conditions.
