The JCCGV Early Childhood Education Department (ECED) provides a warm, stimulating and exciting experience for all our children and their families. Our environment is open and welcoming, and is unique in play-based programs in Vancouver. Treating children with respect is an integral part of our solid foundation and philosophy. Our well trained, skilled staff work to engage children in all areas of learning: social, emotional, cognitive and physical. Imparting life skills and critical thinking skills are highly valued teaching tools. These are modeled in all learning situations by the teachers. We provide all the necessary materials daily to promote imagination, wonder and curiosity, and strive to instill a lifelong love of learning in the children we work with. Donations
