Aleph 1
For beginners and those needing a review of their basics. Learn the Hebrew alphabet, start reading and writing in cursive letters. Begin learning elementary vocabulary and some grammar. Textbook: Ivrit Alphon $18 +GST

Aleph 2
Prerequisite: Aleph 1 or equivalent. You will start speaking Hebrew and expand your vocabulary. You will encounter sentences without a verb, but at the same time learn about 15 present tense verbs in verbal sentences. You will learn the numbers 1-10, tell the time and will be able to ask basic questions.

Prerequisite: Aleph 2 or equivalent. By the end of the course you will be able to use about 30 verbs in their present and infinitive forms. You will describe things more fully by adding adjectives. You will start finding your way around, going to the stores and buying what you need.
